#Myst 3 ubisoft install

Either choice's certainly be better than letting the game gather dust. I would think they could handle either selling the rights back or acting as publisher for this situation too. Plus, Ubisoft's a big developer with quite a few hits recently. If you ask me, that should go a ways in helping get these games on digital distribution. Yeah, Ubisoft published it, but Cyan MADE these games. I've never really understood this whole legal thing, if I'm really being honest. I really don't get why Ubisoft is giving them so much trouble about it. You can get Myst 3 and IV off of amazon though and get them to run on most Windows systems using compatibility mode. Not sure when we will get a stable version for the game, I hope soon though. As of right now, ScummVM is in development of a stable build for the game. I would also like to add information about Myst: Masterpiece Edition, which seems to be very problematic on Steam.

Once you install ResidualVM you will need these certain files for the game. And they are continuing to improve the game play for the game. You have to have an old copy of the game in order to play, but it works much better than compatibility mode. The game is currently completable with a few minor glitches. Currently ResidualVM (sister project to ScummVM) is working on provide a cross-platform 3D game interpreter so that you can play Myst 3 Exile on your computer. I saw this post and I thought I'd add some information here for Myst fans.
